Pretty modern. I wouldn't marry a guy who wouldn't take my name. We needed to all hyphenate our names. So we all have the same last name, we are probably the only 4 in the world with our last name. But it was very important to me that our marriage be a complete partnership. Also, both my husband and I stayed home with our boys for the first 9 months. We also babysat 2 other children. When I went back to work at 9 months hubby watched one of the other boys including ours until they were all 3 1/2 years old. Hubby is a hairdresser and we own a salon, one of our sons wanted a blue mohawk for a Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi concert and he did his hair up proper.

Mainly old fashioned as I am 60 years old and do not care for much of the way the world has come to. but there are many modern ideas that work as well, while the tecknology (sorry for the spelling, getting old.lol)is progressing very fast,it is not all good.

I'm probably somewhere in the middle. I believe in equality between both genders. It isn't up to men to provide the money, nor the women to cook, clean and look afetr children. I think I can be a little old fashioned when it comes to romance, i love the idea of a guy holding a door open for you, I simply think its a sweet gesture. How about yourself?

Wow, kitty...you're just a youngster...lol I'll be 49 next month! I consider myself old-fashioned mostly. I would have liked living in the 50's even though it was harder. But it seems like people really cared about each other; family values, etc. Now a days it seems that a lot of parents don't want to give their children/family the genuine love and support that's needed. Too much in a rush to go nowhere; want more money, more 'me' time, etc. It seems like it's getting to be a me, me, me, world. Don't get me wrong, there are still a lot of good parents/people in this world that haven't gone in that direction but, it seems like they are in the minority.
