The latest news on my dad is that his foot is hooked up to some pump thing. Where it cleans it and flushes the bad stuff out. From what I've heard, this machine has been a great success with this sort of thing.
But if this does not succeed in cleaning out the foot properly to start the wound healing, then my dad's foot will have to be amputated.
I will most likely be coming on here later tonight or some time tomorrow to catch up. But just letting you all know what's happening with my dad.

Diabetes is such a horrible ailment. I hope the machine work so that your father can keep his foot.

@WorDazza Apparently this machine has really worked miracles. I want to ask my dad next time I see him if he knows the name of this thing. Or maybe it says on the actual machine. It's very interesting and slowly but surely just may have been the answer to helping my dad's foot.

@LadyDuck I hope so too. I spoke to my Nan on the phone today and she said it wouldn't surprise her if he stayed in hospital for another month or so. As much as I want him back, I'd rather he stay there until he was 100% healthy and ok!

@Icydoll No worries. Basically he become very sick, went to the doctors, his toe was very infected and that's what was making him sick. He has diabetes so that's again, what was making him ill. He had to have his toe amputated but right now his foot isn't the best. So he is needing further treatment to help save his foot from being amputated also.

@GardenGerty Yeah some of the doctors told my dad the same thing. I'm just trying to work out what the name of this machine is because I'd love to research it. I had never seen or heard of it before all of this.
