Hang up my thoughts, Poetry or not who knows just some words

When will the story end
Do I ever get to hang up my thoughts ?
You know the ones that bring me back to a place where I was free
Free like the raindrops falling from the sky at any moment they are there
Free falling just like my thoughts of a different time
Do I ever get to hang up my thoughts?
When will the story end
On a long winding rd I traveld
Climbed moutains
Danced on the floors of rooms with great history
I did that with my thoughts in tact
I traveled the distance and some how I never came back
When do I ever get to hang up my thoughts
Some love their memories
Some want them gone
I just wish I could hang up my thoughts and let them be gone
Say the end to the story
Say it out loud
and be done
I guess somethings like the earth , they will keep moving
and like the beats of my heart they shall go on
So no luck to day
As I carry on
My thoughts you have
do me a favour at least go to sleep :)

Great poetry! I can relate so well to this. I am often haunted by thoughts and memories that refuse to let me rest as much as I try to ignore them. Great job!

If you can't hang up on them, try changing the subject. If you want to put them to sleep, I recommend baseball.

@Irishlasskicker I miss Jeter, too. And I'm tired of having to go to Arizona or Florida every time I want to see a game. I want Opening Day NOW!

@Irishlasskicker I also tried writing my own poetry and i can write when i am on the mood. Try putting space so it is readable to all readers of mylot some uses glasses and i been told to put spacing too. Goodluck writing here.
