Why Pretend To Be Someone That You Are Not?

I worked at LGU until mid2012. Although I love my job there, I chose to resigned and look for another job that pays on time. Well, this is not about my past job but my former colleague. This person has the attitude that is hard to figure out. I know this person and out of respect to people older than me, I kept silent when she will brag anything about herself to other people while you are there listening. But the most disturbing part is when she claims something that is not true. One of those was she’s pretending to be a midwife and later on as a nurse but truth on that is she’s only a nursing attendant. She studied nursing on weekends while working but unable to finish it. People around the village thought that it’s true. I don’t know but the head of the station tolerated the behavior although those lies from many lies were not true. She even claimed that she’s a regular employee but not. To most of us, we tried to understand unless it will cause us harm. That was a long time ago but I learned that this person hasn’t changed. For me, it’s a shame to pretend and I wonder why this person is doing that. Photo Credit: pixabay.com
