Have you ever been anywhere where cell phone use was strictly prohibited?

Cell Phones are not allowed here. - says the warning on the wall / door. Depending on the place, this is pretty annoying, isn't it? For example, I've been to many museums on my travels with super interesting content... But it was totally forbidden to take pictures of them (no exceptions).

Well yes most museums do not allow photos. I was shocked that it n Perth they allow photos. But there are some photos that can’t have flash. Some temples don’t allow photos as well.

I find that perfectly OK. The photos you can make inside a museum of the artefacts will never be as good as the postcards you can buy there. And selfies in front of pictures are the most idiotic thing ever! You should thank the museum people that they don't allow you to make any. I also know a restaurant which doesn't allow the use of mobile phones. Good decision!

In a restaurant? Really?

@WiseGhots Yes, in a restaurant. If there is only one guest at each table talking/shouting into a phone, there will be pandemonium! But people want to eat in peace.

I agree. Why use a cell phone in a church? Make a close connection to God?

I thought you were complaining about not being allowed to make or take phone calls. Certainly photos are forbidden in some places but mostly it's because there was so much flash photography that paintings were being damaged.
