What was your memorable experience in high school?

I gained a lot of friend when i was in high school. They say, this is the best stage of our life when we try to experiment new things. I wasnt experimental. Let’s just say i was afraid with my strict aunt who simply brought me up. So, the most memorable at the same embarrassing moment to me was when i delivered my 11-paragraph speech in front of my fellow graduates. I was confident i memorized it and could deliver it perfectly so i didnt bring the copy with me. So when i was in the stage, the only thing i could deliver was the first paragraph, which was greetings and the last paragraph which was Saying goodbye. Till now, i hate it. What about you? What memorable experience did you have in high school?

@hereandthere thanks. But you know what, it’s nothing. Success is usually measured when you are done with school, how you use your skills in improving your life, how to beat the sea of people competing one another. I know a lot of successful businessmen who are college drop-outs.

Delivering a speech on graduation day means only one thing - you graduated at the top of the class. It might be long, long ago but congratulations are still in order :)

Oh, that would be awful. When we are young we still have such a lot to learn - like always take a copy of your speech with you.

My first speech was years later. i could never do it while at school. my most memorably experiences were while I was at college. My best friends who I am still connected to were from college. I just attended my classmates daughter's wedding a couple of weeks back.

@fluffy69 Nope not really, but I guess I had more like minded people in college than at school who were my friends.

I'm sorry you left your speech at home. One thing I've always had is the fear to speak in front of people. My most memorable was also my most embarrassing.
