Keen photographer or 'happy snapper'?

Virtually everyone takes photographs but some people like to go into it more deeply than others. I would describe myself as a 'keen amateur'. Not only do I like to take snapshots but I also take more formal images and edit them with one of the many photo-editing programs available.
I don't make a living out of it but it keeps me happy!

@ThreeTeddies Being on a pension it's nice to get a few extra dollars from time to time - even if it is just spent on photo gear.

@ThreeTeddies You have to plan in advance, but sometimes you see something worth a photo and you have to quickly snap.

I love to take photos with my digital camera I try to do the best I can with the shot I take.

I'm strictly an amateur, but I love taking photos. Especially the grandkids. Lots and lots of photos.

@ThreeTeddies I tried but it brought me right back to how deeply terrible I am at Math. I take photos as a way to invite a little poetry onto the page. Sometimes poetry needs a nudge to be born.

I am working on building an income from my photography. =) I don't edit my photos though, I prefer to keep them natural. I will share one of my favorites with you that I took last week.

@LovingMyBabies Good luck with that. Your photos will be a much more saleable if you do at least some editing. There are some very good (free) programs out there which will help
