The year 1905 had a popular song called “Daddy’s Little Girl”. It was a song that always made me cry when I thought about my dad who died when I was ten. The other interesting thing is that this song came out in the year that my dad was born. The song was released through Edison Phonograph Monthly and sung by Byron Harlan. It is amazing what the old recordings sound like but interesting all the same. Has anyone heard this song before?

Thank you for the shared link. I will listen to it as soon as possible. And I thought I heard every song on planet earth. Hmm. Might still have more new songs to discover after all. 1906 on a record that has lots of scratches, but then again I still think it is worth keeping record of. I bookmarked several songs by that artist. I think YouTube has a lot of good old music and it is a wonder indeed that so many songs have been archived that date back so long ago.
