What a Beautiful Day

I found this beautiful saying on lovthispic and knew I had to use it. It speaks from the heart. I try every morning to wake up and be thankful for the blessings I have been given.
I can still get out of bed on my own power. I have a roof over my head, food in the cupboards, and man that I love at my side. I have children and grandchildren that are happy and healthy. Friends that pop in to visit. And, I have a brain that is still working.
Not everything in my life is sunshine and roses but I am so blessed to have the people I love surrounding me. I know too many times it is easy to slip into the negative side of thinking but I block that out of my mind.
Enjoy life while you have it and loved ones while they are here. Enjoy life.

The best way to enjoy life is to count our blessings. To be able to wake up alive each day is already a blessing. For a mother and wife like me, to wake up each morning and seeing my family healthy is already a great blessing.
And it's true that not everything in life is sunshine and roses but it is us who choose to see those sunshine and roses.

I always wake up happy and grateful. But then time goes on, things happen, people speak or come near, and bam. Lol.

I agree with you completely. There is an old saying 'Thank god for dirty dishes.' This refers to having a homme and food, at least. With good health that is enough.
