I don't know if you can click on the link below to watch a short film I just watched. It was from an ad here on mylot and it brought tears to my eyes. The ad "Love Has No Labels" asked the question "Why does it take a disaster to bring us together?" This is such a great question. There is so much prejudice and hatred in our world, yet as humans, everything bad is forgotten and only the good in humanity rises when a disaster occurs. As humans, love is the very essence of our survival so why do we wait to show love and care for others when a disaster hits? We should show this kind of unity, kindness, and love all the time. This short film really brings this message home. I wish people were always kind to one another, not just during a disaster.
Introducing RISING, our original short film that tells the story of a diverse but divided neighborhood struggling to overcome rising flood waters and bias in the heart of America.
