Who Wants To Join Me for a Cup of Coffee or Tea?

Happy Wednesday Everyone! what a mess outside this morning. Everything that was predicted yesterday happened but on a smaller scale. The snow was less, the rain was less and probably even the sleet was less BUT the sleet left everything frozen. When I look out of the window everything is a sheet of ice. With the sun shining on it you can see that it looks like glass. I have to say it's pretty but I certainly won't venture out to get a closer look.
The plows were here frequently through the night and the snow removal company was here for hours as well. You can still see the effort they made trying to clear it all away but it's still a mess.
My daughter went to work after being home yesterday because of the weather. Usually the highway is clear but our side roads could be a problem. I'm waiting to hear from her that she got to her office okay.
Aside from that, the basic things are done already this morning and now it's time to myLot for awhile.
Anyone want to join me for a virtual cup of coffee or tea?

Good morning! I already drank my coffee, but enjoy yours!! =) I got my devotions done, and the kids school work is ready for them. I'm about to cook breakfast in a few minutes then Mylot.

We had rain yesterday, it came earlier than was expected. I am not sure what today will bring us, I do know that it is sunshining outside.
I would love a cup of tea. I woke up about an hour and a half ago. My hands quickly found my book and I have been reading. I need to take care of my ablutions. All I've done is brush my teeth.

@Marilynda1225 I have popped into the shower and back out again. I haven't even fed myself breakfast, I will find something I suppose. I do have a cup of tea now though and will mylot for a little longer, then get on with my day.

The ice is always worse than the snow and a good portion of it melted for us with the sunshine.

I'm enjoying Plantation Mint tea right now. Good for warming the body on a cold day.
Thankfully, we didn't get the snow side, just a lot of rain. (If it had been all snow we probably would have had two feet or so!) I like to watch live webcams, and there are places where the plows went through and you couldn't even see their tire tracks after half an hour!

Good morning to you, too. I had a cup of coffee early this morning, but am on my way out the door in a minute. I'll have a cup of coffee at breakfast out later. We didn't get hit with your weather, thank goodness, but have a gloomy looking day here in so-called sunny Florida. Lol!
Wish I had the time to join you for a cup of coffee, but you know me - always out and about. Perhaps later.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, as gloomy as it was here, it was a great day. Thanks. I was on the phone with my sis-in-law as my brother walked out of the airport. He made good time and arrived safely. I always worry.

Yes she got to work okay. The local roads were slick but once she got to the highway everything was clear.

We did get hit. And alot of the snow was gone by the time i went to bed. So they never came to plow, even with slush on the roads.. smh
