What do you think about these coaster in the photo above? I made these this morning to go in my living room. They are made out of tile and left-over scraps of tissue paper. I took Modge Podge and brushed it on the tiles and place various little scrap tissue paper on there smoothing them and letting it dry. Then I brushed more Modge Podge on top and layered a few more pieces of the tissue paper making sure all of the tile itself was covered. I smoothed the edges of the paper over the edge of the tile and Modge Podged the back after the front was all dry. After the back dried I added 3 or 4 more layers of Modge Podge to the front. Then after they were all dried I cut pieces of felt to fit the back and glued it on. The Modge Podge made the front moisture resistance and protected the finish. They make wonderful coasters and they go withy the colors in my living room. The bonus is - they are one of a kind.

@HazySue They are really pretty. I worked in a summer program once, and all the kids made them. I kept the one I made for a long time.
