Got my first Misfits Market delivery this afternoon

I used to belong to an organic produce group that would deliver every 2 weeks. You never knew what you were going to get but it was always a good assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables. The problem is that it just got to be expensive--$52 per box when I finally gave it up. I've been seeing ads for Misfits Market on Facebook for the past month and I finally got curious about it. They say that "ugly" produce needs love too. There are 2 box sizes to choose from: 10-12 pounds for $19 or 18-20 pounds for $34. Everything is organic and you can select if you want your deliveries to be every week or every other week. I received my box today and was very pleased with the selection and the fact that everything looked pretty much perfect. I was expecting some funky stuff! The butternut squash had a bit of a crack in it but nothing that would make me not want to buy or eat it. The selection today included: collard greens, baby spinach, grape tomatoes, butternut squash, green peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, a turnip, potatoes, limes, pears, and oranges. I like all everything except the collards but my parrot will happily eat those. I am definitely going to continue this subscription. It is perfect for my lifestyle!
