Hi everyone. We are finally home.My son had an X ray and was seen by 2 nurses, who said that the foot is just sprained, not broken.I was expecting a doctor to see him and didn`t know that a nurse can read X rays, but there you go.My son is still unable to step on his foot and screams every time he tries to.We`ll wait till tonight to see if will get any better.

Sprains can take days to heal and be able to put pressure one. Make sure to elevate, ice to and he should probably wear an ankle brace it’ll help. I’ve sprained my ankles tones of times. Yes anyone that has taken radiology can read an x Ray. Many train for it and learn what to look for even nurses. My husband is learning how to be a nurse. I’ve seen many x rays myself as a parents and wife so I can see things that aren’t meant to be there.

@AAichka he can’t walk on it a lot or it’ll make it worse it need a little bit of rest to heal. A sprain is when it’s a deep buried and movement can make it take longer ice will help with swelling as well as any other inflammation thatbis build up.

Sprains can be pretty painful as well. I am sure it will take awhile to heal.
