How is everyone doing? Happy Saturday to most/all. Here it is just past 12AM in Minneapolis, Minnesota and I am finishing up my last day before a 4 day weekend for some much needed re-coup. The last couple of weeks have felt killer and I have been in a bad mood as a result. Anyone heard of or used Hello Fresh? What is your review? Hello Fresh is one of the "bigger" names in the meal subscription box industry. I was hesitant to try it, but found a deal on it to get the first 3 meals for a total of $20, so I am trying them out, just for fun. I have been having fun with different boxes these past couple of months, it makes my lunches and meal prep a little more interesting. It kind of takes my mind off having to meal plan, too ,which is nice, although if everything was my choice, I probably would pick some slightly different recipes. I was NOT able to order a vegan box from Hello Fresh, which bums me out. I do not think they offer vegan meals. Instead, I have a vegetarian box, which so far doesn't seem to include a lot of protein. My first meal made was made yesterday before work, and it was pesto-tomato-mozzarella flat breads with arugula on top. It was good, but didn't feel the healthiest and I dislike that it felt like there wasn't any good protein on it, besides the cheese. Which on my radar, doesn't really count. I need some beans, tofu, or something else. Ha. I have 2 more meals to make from them within the next couple of weeks, so we will see what happens. Have you gotten one of these? Or anything fun/exciting in the mail lately?

I have heard of it from people I follow on YouTube....but never tried it myself cause of the price (and I am a picky eater lol). Hope you enjoy the other 2 meals better!

I am kind of a pickier eater too I am realizing. Like one of the last subscription boxes made me discover I really hate cauliflower unless it's breaded with buffalo sauce or diced up into cauliflower rice. Yuck otherwise! Lol. But it is fun.

@MommyOfEli2013 I love cauliflower cheese, or I quite like it roasted with a bit of mustard. I like raw cauliflower florets too dipped in hummus or blue cheese dressing.

So far, this is my least favorite of the 2, but I bet if you eat meat you would have much better options.

I haven't tried these. 3 meals for 20 bucks isn't too bad. Did you sign up for this through swagbucks?

I don't do meal boxes. I did look at one once to see what they offered and considering they're big on chicken, it's out of the question.

I don't get that brand and haven't really tried too much else than Skip the Dishes which is a delivery system connected to many restaurants here. I do think it's a super idea though for busy working people.

$20 for three meals didn't sound too bad, but if one of them is essentially just a cheese-salad sandwich then it doesn't seem such a good deal.

I dont remember the best deal i have had. But perhaps the one i got was 11 usd which consisted of grilled tuna, rice, egg drop siup, grilled young corn and grilled chicken, in small sizes. There was also a cream sauce. So far it tasted so good.
