Our son couldn’t find Doodles the cat when he and his wife returned home last night from dinner with friends. They searched their house, but our son finally found him in the guest bathroom sound asleep on the counter next to a bar of Dove scented soap! As it turns out Doodles loves this brand of soap and hugs it. Sometimes he goes into that bathroom and our son lets him drink water out of the faucet. Then Doodles hugs that soap. This time Doodles was found sound asleep next to it as you can see. Live and learn! That cat always makes me laugh!

@DianneN Bubi "steals" the seeds of the birds. He is too funny when he eats the seeds, he makes me laugh. It does not seem happy when I laugh at him.

. Our son said that Doodles sneaks in a lick or two of that soap. Cats make us laugh over their silly antics.

There must be something very soothing or relaxing in the scent of that Dove soap that Doodles likes, or perhaps it's a very intoxicating scent. Either way, he really seems to like it!

LOL... that is so cute. That soap was always used in my grandparents house which is going back to the 70s!! Love his name btw... You caught me off guard this morning because my post (still in draft is all about doodles too!!

That is hilarious! I haven't used Dove in years and have no idea why our son has it. He usually uses the same things I use. lol Perhaps his wife uses it. I must read your discussion now! I'm sure it's not about our Doodles.

I get allergic reaction to the scent of dove even though it's not that strong. I'm really sensitive like that. Doodles is too cute.

Thank goodness Doodles doesn't have sensitive skin. Hugging that bar of soap would make him itch like crazy and break out! He even gives it a little kiss or two. True love!

That is so funny, each night when I put lotion on after my shower, the Dude stays close and rubs his face on my hands. He also loves the smell of the lotion. Brendel doesn't do this, something abbot the black cats perhaps.
