What do you think about a person who doesn't have a profile photo on Facebook?

I was talking to someone since a year ago. When I met him he didn't have a profile photo. Now, after 1 year, he still doesn't have a profile photo. I am feeling weird to talk to someone with no profile photo. I asked him to add at least one photo with him, but he refused to do this. Some people may think that his profile is fake. Would you talk to a person without a profile photo? What do you think about a person who doesn't have a profile photo on Facebook? I think that person is very shy or that he/she thinks that he/she is ugly.

If he doesn't want to put one up for all to see he could send you one privately. If he doesn't even want to do that then yes I would have some concerns after talking to somebody for over a year.

Perhaps they prefer to maintain anonymity to the wode Facebook photo. They may show a photo via private email. Just because there is a no profile photo means the profile is fake. Probably half the profiles with photos are fake.
