As many of you know, I love to read. This year I decided to step out of my reading box and get away from the mystery/thrillers and enjoy some new authors and genres. So far I've read these books and enjoyed them all very much: Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate In Her Bones by Kate Moretti Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan Look Alive 25 by Janet Evanovich The Great Alone by Kristan Hannah I highly recommend any of these books and wonder if you've read any of them? Of course I'll still be reading my mystery/thrillers as that's my favorite genre but I am hoping to find some more good books to read as the year goes on. I have many actual books on my bookshelves plus hundreds downloaded on my kindle. I'm really never at a loss for a book to read. For all my book loving friends in the myLot world....what are you reading?

I haven't read any of those, but some sound good. I am still reading The House at Riverton by Kate Morton I am about 107 pages away from finishing it. I may get it finished today, if I decide not to watch any television. There is a website that I haven't visited in awhile. It shows authors that are similar to another. I was thinking of the site a few days ago. I'll drop a link here.

I am not reading any book right now. The library is open again after they closed it for about a year. I have not had the time to go back. I heard you have to get a new library card

I just recharged my kindle account yesterday. I haven't read any of those books you have mentioned here. I read a lot of spiritual books and self help books these days

No I haven't and am a mystery book buff usually but some of those titles sound intriguing. Thanks I'll keep them in mind.

All the storylines in the books I mentioned are interesting and make for a good book. The only one I'd say that was really truly fiction was Crazy Rich Asians

I will keep these books in mind. I am lately on a Jackie Collins streak and am going through her Lucky Santangelo series. Two more books to go.

@Marilynda1225 To be fair it hasn't been too bad. It's very readable and I'm just over a quarter of the way through. At the rate I read it will probably be another 6 to 8 weeks or so before I get through it.

I will see it when it comes on either Netflix or Hulu for free. I won't spend money to buy it to see it but it was a worthwhile book and I think it would make a good movie

I am currently without a book, but will check my shelves soon. I just finished an Agatha Christie trilogy, Miss Marple Meets Murder. Three unrelated mysteries. I need to go over to the next town and see what I can find to read. The library just received a 5 Star Award. I will have to go see what that means.

Yes I read Janet Evaovich, I have read every book she wrote, I think. I am at the ending of a new author for me and she is awesome! I will reveal this one in a day or so, as a review, I hope the ending is as good as the rest of the book.
