Trying to Live the Simple Life

The photo was taken five years ago in Florida with my husband and former colleagues. We, among others, live in Florida, are snowbirds, or visit for the winter months. We have all stayed in touch over the years here and in Connecticut. We are trying to coordinate a luncheon date with some, and dinner with others. It’s so difficult! Today I’m heading out with my husband to our wonderful farm market and to Costco to restock my pantry. That’s as simple as it gets!

Thanks, We'll work something out. The former school nurse with the gray hair in the photo is the one who suggested I cut it. We had lunch together when I returned up north. By then my hair was dry, frizzy, and burnt out from the pool and sun. I'm letting it grow a bit now with the help of my Florida hairdresser. We shall see how it looks.

It's getting out of hand with more people wanting to join us. One wants to come from the other side of Florida!!! Some aren't even my good friends. Who needs them? And thank you. Stop making me blush!

Everyone, except my husband, of course spent many years together teaching. The woman with the gray hair was our school nurse and a more loving and caring lady can not be found. What fun times we had..
