Everything but the kitchen sink
So.i was trying to find something good to.fix for supper had no clue what i wanted or was gonna fix .so.i opened the cabinets grabbed my spiral noodles.. Put them.on to boii and opened the fridge started seeing what i had to.use ..i ended up making pasta salad with mushrooms shredded chicken., diced turkey and hot peppers .i made a crumble mix outta dry. Crumbled fine dry toast and poured oil over it ..i added all that to my cooked spiral pasta and then added a peppercorn parmesan ranch dressing i had on hand ..i. Took.a small bit out to.try which was great and put the rest in the fridg to get cold this will be my supper tonight and left overs for tomorrows lunch .. Do you like to throw different foods togeather when you cook ..? I love experimenting ..espically when it turns out. Really good .

That sounds delicious! My husband does most of the cooking around here and yes he adds all sorts of things to make fabulous dishes. =)

@Nana49 I'm sorry you didn't enjoy cooking for him, that would be awful....but glad you are happy to cook for yourself now and can try whatever you want

It took me a while to learn how to do this
I had plenty of practice was married to my ex for 10 years of cooking and these last 7 years divorced i get to make it my own dish so that helps knowing i can try new things .. Plus it is alot of fun for me
That's key to anything enjoying what your doing
I did not enjoy cooking for him because of his bad attitude.. So im happily cooking for myself now

I do.it alot ..people have told me im.a good cook
When i was married i cooked every day and he was hard on me ..so now its nice to be able to experiment and not worry about it cause no one will get upset it it turns out wrong .. that is a blessing ..in itself . sadly his harsh words and hjgh expectations is what made me the good cook i am today ..

I like to mix foods iun a meal; sometimes, I mix vegetables with fruits or other food items to make delicious meals

I like giing thru my cabinets when i think i have nothing to fix and seeing one item will speak a light in my head ah i can fix this with this and i can add that to it and this and soon i have good food. Cooking and im happy ..with my meal
