~You Have To!~

Hey everyone I hope you're doing well today. =) Things are amazing here! God is such a good Father and works everything out for our good! Listen, so many people are going through something hard today and I'm praying for all of you. I also wanted to offer encouragement and remind us to always be grateful... Psalm 107:2 "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever." There are people in so much pain right now-if you're not-be grateful! There are people who are truly hungry right now-haven't eaten in days-not you?-be grateful! There are people who just had a child die recently-not you?-be grateful! There are people without homes-do you have one?-be grateful! There are people who are in hospital beds and stuck there-do you sleep in your own bed?-be grateful! You have so many things to be grateful for, these are just a few examples that came into my mind. Being grateful has positive effects on how you are feeling too! Are you grateful for anything today?? By the way, you should also look to be a blessing sometimes too. As quick as He blessed you it could be taken away, so bless someone and remember we are just managing what isnt actually ours to begin with. Image is one I took that goes along great with this discussion! It's my favorite coffee mug and a great reminder!

I give thanks a minimum of twice a day for all the wonderful blessings in my life and those of my family and friends. I'm beyond grateful.

I'm always grateful, especially for all those you mentioned. But unfortunately, there's so much more to life that make alot of days hard to find more things to be grateful for.

I am always grateful for what God has provided me, especially because I don't deserve any of the blessings he has bestowed upon me. I never lose sight of the fact that no matter how bad I think my situation is, there are millions of people out there in the world who are suffering much worse than me. It makes a big difference when you put everything into its proper perspective.

Yes I am very grateful and this is timely as my brother is just being released today from the hospital after a mild stroke. Pray that all works well for him.

I never have a hard time knowing that I am blessed, not everyone enjoys the life that I do. There are so many with less, in so many ways. And, to top it all off, I had a wonderful day at work today-I had my first coaching session from my manager, and she gave me a glowing report. It was good to know where I stand even though I haven't been there for too long.

I have had alot of hardship along the way and still.going thru some ..but mine now are petty to some others ..i am grateful and i thank God every day I mean sure im alone and lonely but i have a good home sure i dont have anyone to cook for me or to cook for but i have food and the God lord gives me the knowledge to be a great cook .. Im.thankful that even though its gloomy out it has yet to rain today . im thankful that i have a car. And thankful that my daughter will have one soon.. I have so many things to be thankful for .. The best is knowing and loving God and having him in my life and knowing that he will answer my prayers and one day i will be very happy again .. Right now im.just trying to be still.and listen to what God is saying to me in what way to go in life I know he has good things in store for me but only in his timing.. Til then i will be ok..

@Nana49 I know what you mean...most people know here that my family has been homeless a few times now, and truly hungry-my husband and I have been a few days without food at times so our kids could eat. I have had 2 miscarriages, we've been without a vehicle many times, slept in a tent and motel room, and we have moved 48 times in 15 years... BUT!! God is amazing and we are very blessed. Our Father loves us and we know we have been through those things to be a testimony for others going through hard times.

You are right. Even on the worst days we have things we can be thankful for. But on those very worst days it can be hard to think this way.

@shaggin Yes, even the worst days have something we can be grateful for. If the day didn't bring us to the hospital, or hungry, or without a bed to sleep in-we should be grateful. =)
