Bring My Drink Bottle = Saving Money

One of the most important things for me is frugality. Well, every piece of money in our hands is the result of sweat drops we struggle every day. And frugality really helps me to look after my finances. I try to save as much as possible. I'm not a typical hard line saver, but I'm trying to be as economical as possible. One of the things I like is bringing my drink bottle and my own lunch box. I always carry my drink bottle because of course it's cheaper to bring water or coffee from home than to buy it outside. And the reason I brought a lunch box is because if I buy lunch food outside with my friends, I can only spend half a portion. So instead of wasting my leftovers foods, I often take home my leftovers using my lunch box. And I just need to warm up my leftover using microwave and that will be my dinner menu. How about you? How are your savings tips?

This is me to a tee. Even when I run around doing errands I will bring a bottle of water from home or pour some soda (if it is what I want) into a bottle so I am not tempted to stop at a gas station if I am thirsty and buy a bottle of soda for way more money. I bring my lunch to work from dinner leftovers so I don't have to spend on lunch. Being frugal is just a good way to go, and the money you save doing so can allow you to afford many more luxuries overall.

@redtesha Besides, all the cost of buying those sodas in a convenience store are based on the convenience solely, and not the true value when you consider that a 20 ounce bottle of soda costs sometimes more than a 2-liter bottle, but most people are not going to want to carry around a 2-liter bottle and so they opt for the costlier 20 ounce.

Me too. I bring my own drinks, be it plain water or tea to work. I did not pack my lunch, intead I went home for lunch. I was blessed with a workplace close to home. I like gardening. Especially edible plants. So I am saving a lot by frugally planting herbs and stuffs. I bring juice to work too. Recently I juiced up a lot of starfruit and passionfruit from my lawn and freeze them. I thaw one portion for a day's worth and that save me some money instead of buying juice.

Well I use to do that before when I am still working and for my children I just let them buy in the canteen because if they bring a lunch box they don't eat all and it is more a waste.I just cook food that is right for us and no extra so that it is not wasted.
