Off with my head

This is just built completely wrong and don't make any sense. Today I was walking up the new ramp at Larry's and I almost knocked my head off. I'm glad I looked up just in time. The builders made the ramp so high that you have to duck to go under his awning and stay hunched over till you open his door. And it comes all the way out pass his guarge! He's not happy with it at all.

I don't know what the builders were thinking. Only a child could go up and down it successfully. I suppose someone in a wheelchair would do alright as well. My cousin was coming home after being in hospital and care facilities for awhile. Her step father and siblings built a ramshod ramp. It works but it doesn't quite meet the ground at the start. They placed a board that isn't nailed down. It is also a slippery ramp. Did Larry have to pay for the ramp being built?

The ramp is all the way to the ground now but it's still very bad, that picture was only half way done with the ramp. The VA paid for most of it but he has to pay for the rest.

@hillhjill I would definitely want to make sure that the ramp is stable and of sturdy condition as well. My mom had a ramp built and some organization paid for it, I forget what. The ramp was good quality. My dad built a lean to type roof over the front door. It looked shoddy in comparison to the ramp. I always thought that was funny, of course I am sure he wouldn't have appreciated me saying so.

@ScribbledAdNauseum the ramp is sturdy, I checked it all out and it's stable as well, just not placed very well and to high. That's good that she got a good ramp built for her and that's great about your dad!

i agree with courtney. it looks like a bridge. a ramp is supposed to be tilted, gradually going upward from the ground, right?

He took a short cut ordering this ramp. You get what you pay for. those men don't even look to be licensed and dressed like that I would tend to believe it. Most company guys have a business logo on their coats.
