I chose 3 dishes to make for my friend/coworker a couple of days ago and bought the ingredients for them this afternoon when I did the weekly grocery shop. I'm going to make pot roast and egg noodles, Philly cheesesteak bowls with rice, and chicken souvlaki with roasted vegetables. I went with what she told me to do--make things that I would normally prepare for us and then just double the amount.
The ingredients cost me about $30 again this week so I'll make $30 in profit after I put in the time to prepare everything. That sounds good to me. I am going to be busy for most of the day tomorrow so I'll have to start cooking tomorrow night and then Sunday morning. I could do something tonight but I don't want to prepare things too far in advance as they will be eating them throughout next week.

@Tina30219 I figured she would be. She's hired me to cater parties for her before.
