Vegan Festival .....the food was so tasty

So I noticed two days ago that there was to be a vegan festival in our local town hall ...today ! Although I am not vegan I am always interested in these sorts of festivals and I was vegetarian for over twenty years ….. Anyway ….I went along and the hall was absolutely packed ….there were lots of people selling soaps etc and one selling perfume ...all lovely and reasonably priced. I was interested in trying the various foods and drinks that were on offer...Things have come a long way on the last 20 or 30 years … I have to say that a thoroughly enjoyed everything that I had ...and I will certainly be having some of the items again. Cakes, biscuits and cheeselike spreads made from cashew nuts ….yummy. This was the first time that we have had such a festival in my town but I hope we get them more often.
