I have almost a million views on HubPages

Almost 1/3 of my views are due to one hub. However, that hub is now getting a lot less traffic, and another has taken the number one spot. I got my first payout after about 4 months. After 8 months I was getting payout every other month. By the end of the first year, it went to every month. Is your top hub still getting traffic? Maybe you should try updating your hubs, improving titles can make a big difference in traffic. Try to include relevant words in the title that people would type into their search.

@norcal Yes, the top hub is still getting plenty of traffic. It's about MS Word keyboard shortcuts. I am not an expert of SEO. I think those that are, are the ones that do well traffic and earnings-wise.

@norcal My hub that has a huge number of views... I have no idea what I did that it gets that many views and from search engine traffic it seems, aside maybe from the fact that I wrote about something people always search for. I am assuming ms word keyboard shortcuts is a popular search,

@norcal that's really good. is that through views only or with affiliate sales? do you publish new articles all the time?

@hereandthere I get mayby 1/4 of my income there from Amazon sales. I don't publish new articles very often at this point. Most of my earnings come from article I wrote a long time ago.

@norcal Wow! The most I've made in a month was around $25 and I think it only happened once.
