Failed to Beat the Power Outage

Yesterday morning, I was rushing to post this because of the announced electricity supply cut-off at 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. I was encoding this, and had not finished yet, when the power went off.
So I was not around the whole day, and till night because I had other things to do. Now it is my time to share this and read your posts as well.
Power failures restrict some of our activities, though we can be creative in making the most out of it.

It is the local power supplier that had some problems regarding upgrading and maintenance activities. Am glad they always have an advisory when there's brownouts.

My day has been good despite being housebound by the bad weather.
I'll likely be losing my electricity at some point either today or tomorrow because of the snow, sleet, and rain I've been dealing with all day.

We can tolerate to have no electricity for some time, but no water for a day could be so hard!
