The Cup that Cheered

Those who don't live in the UK may not be aware of a British saying. As you probably know, we do love a cup of tea and it's often known as the cup that cheers. I totally agree with the sentiment but today tea cheered me up a little more than usual. I was invited to take part in an online forum relating to tea. I basically had to watch a few possible adverts for a popular British tea brand and comment on what I thought of them. The forum took an hour but, at the end of it, I got £15. Unfortunately it took place during lunch but I'm now sitting here having a few grapes to keep me going, washed down with ... yes, you've guessed it ... a nice cup of tea. It's rare that I get on these high paying surveys or forums but surprisingly I've been on two in the last week. The previous one was on cat food and I should be getting £45 for that - it took place over three weeks hence the larger amount. Here's hoping I'll get selected for another!!

My hubby was born in England and can't stand the stuff lol. I think that I drink more of it than he does... which is none now that I think about it!!

I think I'd be lost without my cuppa! In fact, as I'm typing this, I've actually got one close to hand!!

Congrats on getting another high paying survey. I got one this morning on paidviewpoint that paid me 10 cents for answering one question. I love those very simple ones too.

I don't now about you Eva but I far prefer to have five 5 minute surveys than one 25 minute one.

@olliesmum I hate sitting for a long time on just one. Usually like the payout when it is done at least.

@olliesmum So glad it was well worth it. My grandfather was from the Ukraine and he loved drinking a glass of tea.

Sounds like a good topic for you. Unfortunately I can't stand tea - people question my Britishness!

That's wonderful. It's not often you get a survey that pays really well.
