How many of my friends on My Lot, have tried or heard this treat? Almond-butter Granola Cups, are made by Nature Valley who produces a lot of tasty food items. Jay bought these a couple weeks ago, to find out if they're any good. As you can see, they are round like little cookies, filled with almond-butter, and then topped with chopped almonds. They are delicious and we both love them!

They look really nice although almond isn't my favourite flavouring.

I usually don't care for almond flavoring, but these just have sliced almonds on top.

@kobesbuddy I know that, just don't buy them so don't pay attention to the flavors and what not.

I will look for them the next time I go to the store. I've actually been eyeing the nut section at trader joe's lately. I think I might buy some unseasoned cashews and do my own seasoning on them. I've also seen that they have different types of flour. Of course, regular grocery stores have that as well...

@kobesbuddy I haven't been to aldi's in a very long itme. The closest one is still across town. I do know they have some very reasonable prices, however. The Lidl's which is fairly new, is also right down the road from it.

They sound delicious but also very fattening! My personal health advisor would probably frown on me eating them!

As a diabetic, I eat only one. It's just enough to satisfy my desire for sweets. Two of these, have far too much sugar.

@kobesbuddy hmm, but such foods are not rare here, taste might be different due to additional or quantity of ingredients are always different; we have all vegetarian cookies, while in US as I checked, it contains egg which I wil avoid.

@yugocean Yes, most of our cookie recipes contain eggs and butter. I make a no-bake cookie that has no eggs added in.

Their are about twelve in a box, I can only eat one each day. That way, my glucose level doesn't go up too high.
