Today is National Public Sleeping Day

I just heard this. Today I decided to take the bus to work since I didn't sleep very well last night and I didn't want to deal with the traffic. On the way to work I fell asleep for about five minutes on the bus. I woke up just before I got to my stop.
So I celebrated National Public Sleeping Day without even realizing such a day existed.
Have you ever fell asleep in public, at the beach, on a bus, on a park bench, in the movie theatre, in a doctor's office, etc.?

I was always falling asleep on transportation and in class when I went to both high school and university. There was just too much living to do and with studying who had time to sleep. I have lots to do today online so I will leave my cats to do the celebrating today.

@RasmaSandra sometimes I used to fell asleep when I used to study during the exams on a chair.
Sometimes I used to wake up after 2 hours and quite a number of times at 1 or 2 o' clock in the night.

I have slept in my car before when travelling and always with the door locked. Sorry you were in that position.

no ma'am, not'n my adulthood anyhow that i can recall. reckon that non-sleepin' 'tis goin' 'round, only got myself 'bout 3 hours (courtesy 'f resident cat howlin' 't a quarter to 6 this morn) 'n been runnin' e'er since. i hope yer able to 've a peaceful slumber this eve.

I will have to think about this but I don't think that I have ever fallen asleep in public!! A few days ago I fell asleep in the recliner!! Shoveling snow will do that to you lol!!

I think I have celebrated today as well because I took a nap before lunchtime. I fall asleep on the bus during long travels.

Oh you unconsciously celebrated the National Public Sleeping Day! And yes Once I fell asleep in the subway while I was on my way to college long time ago, it was hilarious!
