Laundry Marathon....

As soon as I got up at 5:30 AM, I started with my laundry and it will go on till afternoon. I had a overflowing basket of clothes from last two days. I finished that in the first load. And then started with cleaning of comforters and blankets. There are five king size comforters and 7 blankets.
So I would need another 5-6 cycles to be washed as these comforters will go alone for a wash. I finished cooking, Packing lunches, my morning walk and dropping my daughter to school. The loads are being washed and dried simultaneously.
I just finished my breakfast and sat down with my laptop. This is the third load going. So I would myLot till I hear the beep from my washing machine.
So that will be my major work going on in background while I do other chores and working online. The sun is bright and so one load dries fast leaving space to hang the other one in a row. It would be a great day to finis it up.
Washing, drying, folding and ironing will keep going and I would be online in between all those.
So I am all set for a laundry marathon today.

Laundry work is big tasks which make us tired. I finished my laundry work on March 4, which was a holiday for us. Usually I do it on alternative days so there won’t be any burden with this but the rain delayed my tasks this time.
Then on winter cloths, still we are using so I do wash it in between. Final washing for the season, yet to come as days are cool still at this side.

I also do it alternate days. But these heavy washings of sheets, rugs, mats, bags, shoes go monthly once while blankets and comfortes go for once in two months.
It is sunny bright here and so good day to wash these heavy oned that take time to dry.

@arunima25 Here the Sun is not bright so but cloudy most of the days. It is really amazing, March already started and we are still wearing sweaters.

@Sreekala Yes that is unusual. There is so much of climate change in recent times. Bangalore was never so hot. But now we need AC at times.

Yes I like it when it is sunny. Clothes are crisp. It goes fast with laundry.

@arunima25 I guess it is best to have a rest in between. Besides, you are not in the rush of doing them all.

I finished 5 loads and I am tired. There are still 3 blankets and they can wait till tomorrow. The machine also needs some rest.

@Shavkat I did take a rest. I am doing the left ones today. My machine needed rest more than me.

That is a lot to be washed in a single day. I guess you have a fully automatic machine

@amitkokiladitya Actually it was not much. Just 12 to be precise. But their size would need one cycle for each. I am glad I am done for next 3 months.

Yes I have fully automatic one. And I did have to wash three blankets next day. I and my machine both needed rest.
