I follow a group on Facebook which focuses on childhood in the 1950's and 1960's. Today I noticed an entry which asked about memorable adverts. The obvious ones for me are 'Beans means Heinz' and 'The Milky Bars on me' but I can also remember one for Bird's Eye frozen peas. If I remember correctly, Patsy Kensit, did the advert. The song, I believe, went 'Bird's Eye peas fresh as the moment, fresh as the moment when the pods went pop;.
Can anyone out there over 50 and living in the UK remember it? Or do you have an old advert that sticks in your mind?

@olliesmum Oh yes you can still get it! I've never tried drinking it but do use it to make chocolate malt ice-cream and Maltester cake!

@olliesmum I think you can still buy Ovaltine here. You should starting singing it to your Mum. Often the old stuff stays in their memory.

Sounds a bit like a British 1940's radio advert - We are the Ovaltinees, happy girls and boys ... I can't remember the rest. Pity my mum's got dementia as she would have finished it off for me! Used to have Ovaltine with hot milk as a kid but don't know if you can get it now.
