2019 Health Journey -- Day 70 (March 11th)

Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a great day and enjoyed whatever was on your menu for the day! I didn't check my blood sugar again....yes I have not been doing too good with that the past few days. For my first meal I cooked some bacon in the air fryer and then I cooked up some truck stop style hashbrowns. I love them, but my husband doesn't so I added eggs and cheese to his. Then, much later in the day I had a sandwich and some pizza things (I forget what they are called at the moment). Once home for the evening, I had a Reese's candy bar...but did not have another meal. So very carb filled again....and tomorrow will be too....but then Wednesday I am back on low carb for the remainder of the month!! How did you all do today?

If you need to keep track of your blood sugar, it should not be overlooked, even if you are eating high carbs. Otherwise, it looks like you had a good day with food. I finished off the pot roast I made the day before.

Yes, I do know that I do need to track it, just been in a funk with it all...and needed a break from everything. Getting back on track with checking my sugar, eating low carb and working out tomorrow though.

@MommyOfEli2013 Since I won't be going to the pool anymore, something I'm really not happy about, I took my dumbells out of the closet along with the stretch ropes I bought several years ago when I attended an exercise class.

@just4him Not going to go to the pool anymore? I am sorry to hear about that. But that is good that you took them out....working out can be done at home.

Yes, that does sound like a lot of carb for the day. Does the candy bar use sugar or any artificial sweetener??

It was, but getting back on plan tomorrow. the candy has regular sugar, yes. so more carbs. I'll make my own sugar free candy soon so I can have a treat without spiking my sugar.

I knew it would be high, so I figured why bother. I'll be back on plan soon.
