…you?” “I am in the toilet.” This is what makes me feel a bit angry. A kid student of mine is having a class in the toilet. Does it mean, “Time is gold?” I don’t think so. I personally think that this kid needs to know what is embarrassing or not. The course of action is to ask him to finish pooping before having the class. I told him it is not a good manner. What can I say, my online students are in characters these days?
“Do you think that I am wrong?”
“Is it fine to have a video call inside the toilet?”
“What is a toilet for you?”

This kid was not taught well, I won't be surprised if the parents talk to you in the same manner if you arrange a meeting to talk about their child ( I'm being sarcastic)

He was probably trying to multi-task.
He should have called when he was at the proper desk/or area, not the toilet though!

I don't need a visual if someone is on the toilet. And only video call if you're using the toilet as a chair and nothing else.

@jiwonnie Uhm I think it can spice up your life when seeing this kind of student. It is only a few students who don't have manners. Personally, we can still act as a real teacher in teaching them what is right. It is enjoyable to teach online. It is not always having a bad day.
