Today I had my first tooth extraction

Now I will try to mylot because I want to divert my attention. The dentist put a gauze pad in my mouth. I have to keep the gauze pad for 2 hours. I had severe nausea because of that pad. I think I would vomit. It's so unpleasant. But the extraction was fine, it lasted one minute or two. I have to divert my mind for 2 hours. Now it's only one hour left. If you had extractions did you have nausea because of the gauze pad?

Whenever you feel nauseated rotate your toes clockwise and then anto clockwise. Keep doing this for a while and then nausea will.soon subside.

@dya80dya I hope this helps. Why are you undergoing so many extractions?

@amitkokiladitya I have tooth decay. And now my teeth are ruined by this. I lost them. It's hard to accept that I lost my teeth.

I removed the pad after a only half hour and I was fine. I could not stand to keep the pad for so long.

Me neither. I was about to vomit. I didn't know that it would be so hard to keep the pad.

@nomus24g The nausea is because of the gauze pad. I had local anesthesia, but this doesn't help nausea.

No nausea. I was only tired a bit cause it was kind of stressful. I congratulate you for this first step. You did it.

The nausea was because of the pad. Could you keep the pad for 2 hours without nausea?

@dya80dya I suppose it depends upon the person. I did not have a problem with keeping the pad for 2 hours, but others may have a problem.
