Down 30 pounds

I did a detox diet through my gym last fall and recently a Fat Blast challenge. I just updated my weight in the app that we use and it said that I’m down 30 pounds from where I was back in October. It has been a combination of eating well, regular workouts, and stress that has gotten me to this point. I’m in a new size of pants. I bought a smaller bathing suit for next month’s vacation. In 5 more pounds I will be under 200 which is a number I haven’t seen in many years. My realistic goal is to get to 180. I’ll be happy to get there this year. 160 is my fantasy goal.

Congratulations and jubilations at losing weight! I'm used to counting weight in kilos. So I'm a bit at a loss to understand the numbers here. I can only say that 200 sounds like a lot.

You are doing great. Slow and steady is good. 160 does not have to be a fantasy number. Just stick with the program.

30 pounds?? That's terrific! If I were to set a weight loss goal it would be 50 pounds. I would try to lose about 10 pounds every month.
