Oil of cloves is what I have always used for toothache. Either put a very small amount on a piece of cotton wool and put it next to the offending tooth between the gum and the cheek or chew an actual clove bud gently to release just a little of the essential oil. The toothache is very likely caused by an abscess under the tooth, so it's best treated with an appropriate antibiotic (which your dentist should prescribe).

Take paracetemol. Mefenamic acid won't help in tooth pain. Or take diclofenac.

I don't know about the Philippines (or India) but diclofenac is only available on prescription in the UK. I used to take it for gout and it is very good with the more severe pains. Paracetamol (or Tylenol in the US) can be bought over the counter anywhere, I think. Its effect is enhanced if one takes caffeine with it. Be very careful not to take more than one of this class of medicine at a time! Mefenamic acid, paracetamol and diclofenac are all NSAIDs and should not be mixed!

POur Epsom salt in your mouth. Close you mount then lay down on the side that is hurting you. Give it about 40 mins. Lay on about two towels. If it does not help you have nerve damage. Please get it now. That pain is horrible.

@KlyliePot That is all I use dear. But it won't help I don't believe with never damage. After you come from the dentist. Put two or three cups in your bath water and rub your body good. It will pull the pain out of your body. If you wanted to do that with this toothache you could pour the pint size bottle in your bath. I use the larger one and trust me I use the entire box. Tooth pain is horrible.

Sounds like you may need a root canal. I had that happen to me, too, and the pain was excruciating and went away immediately after the root canal. Try swishing whiskey in your mouth and taking pain relievers. I pity you in that you have to wait so long for help.

As suggested by the post below, clove oil can help relieve the pain. But you need to visit the dentist to find out the real cause.
