Get together tomorrow...

So it is a sudden plan. We are having a get together tomorrow for an early lunch.
I am having 5 families come over and that makes 23 more people and including the ones in my house, it becomes 30.
So I am going to cook an elaborate 3 course meal for 30 people tomorrow.
Well, I love to host parties like this and cook. And this one I am doing after a long break of almost an year.
One of my husbands college friend has come from Sydney and so we thought of having a small get together at my place with other friends who are in city.
The festival of colors Holi is on Thursday and so we thought of having all delicacies of Holi in menu.
Since it is a sudden plan, soon I will be going out to shop for all that I need. And much of my evening and tomorrow morning will go in cooking and planning.
My daughters have offered to help me and so has my domestic help who agreed to come early tomorrow and stay a little extra. Of course I am going to pay her for that extra help. So I have enough help for a big party.
That would keep me busy till tomorrow evening. I would peep in here whenever I get a chance to

Yes it was time consuming. But my excitement kept my spirit high and the food was worth all my time and effort. Things were flawless.

Yes. It takes time and effort. But I love it and so that doesn't bother me much. I am glad that everyone had a great time.
