Advice - Do You Listen?

I`m given advice all the time and I`m not offended by it, most people are genuine and give excellent advice.
Do I take everyone`s advice? No because it would not work for me in that certain situation.
My point of view might be closed or naive and when others,especially my elders and children/ young adults, give advice I listen.
The elders have been there and done that, so they know if something won`t work or will make me look bad.
Oh! you seen the children/young adult part, well things are changing fast and they may see "old school" all over what my point of view is, so I listen, there just may be a faster and more practical way to do something.
Never close down to new ideas... Listen.

I listen, then decide for myself. Yes sometimes there is a better easier way.

@andriaperry If you are only going to have a few they work very well. I have never tried but seen on pinterest ideas for letting them run the rows in your garden with those. Free weeders.

@andriaperry the people around us can be a wealth of helpful information if we're willing to listen to and consider what they have to say. Of course, I've also gotten some really bad advice as well. Listening doesn't obligate me to follow but it often gives me another way of looking at things.

I think the best way is to listen then decide if the advice is ok or not, by the way "I'm blue" is one of favorite songs

It all depends on the tone of voice. I obviously did not like the tone of voice of the co worker when I quit my job this year. It also depends on whether the person giving advice also can receive it well.

I listen to advices and most of the time friends do rebuke and teach me. It is a good thing to know they care about me.

I guess it's all in the way it is given! I will listen, but again... it's all in the way the advice is given. If they annoy me... that's pretty much it!!
