Irish Holiday

Tomorrow is St Patricks Day.
I surely miss my Irish born Mother so badly this holiday, Rest in Peace Lovely Mama.
There is really no one to celebrate with now but I will do my best to recall the love that filled my Mother's heart everyday of her life and all the kindness she showed to even strangers.
I won't be cooking anything special this year but may just have some nice spuds.
If you are cooking, will you make anything special?

I miss my Irish mom too especially when St. Patrick's Day rolls around. My mom was particularly fond of the traditional corner beef and cabbage and of course we always had Irish Soda Bread

We don´t celebrate it over here but I celebrate it for myself.
Will be putting Irish music on for a start off.
Not cooking anything really special no although I know some will.
Your Mom will be in your heart and although its not the same thing she will be there for you.

We do not have that holiday here, but I will make a nice lunch, because after a couple of days spent outside my home (with my mom) I will finally spend the day with my family

We went out for corned beef and cabbage, I didn't want to have leftovers and I still had money in my account at the club so it was a win-win.
