Mango season is round the corner. There are several ways a mango can be eaten - Remove the portion that holds the stem Slice away the 2 cheeks and then slice away the sides of the mango stone Scoop out the flesh with a spoon and enjoy it. - There are also those sucking mangoes. Just nip the top and suck away. Remember to wear an apron as juice will flow down your hands. - Use a melon baller and scope out balls after cutting the mango as shown above Scoop out the rest of the flesh and place all this on the skin. Pour milk cream. Cool it and have a ball. -This huge mango should be incised all round it in the middle and twist both sides of the mango. That will look like two cups Use a spoon and enjoy the scoop Any other ways you can think of?

My mother did it for me, because I had never peeled mango skin with a small knife.

@allknowing The most difficult is if the mango skin is very thick.

@allknowing May be, but I also cut in pieces the watermelon, I hate to get juice on my hands or on me while I eat. That is how I have been grown up, eating "clean".

Never thought of using a melon baller, I don't know why. I usually go for the 'hedgehog' style, as shown here:
