For My Sewing Room?

This week I spotted a t-shirt advertisement on Facebook. Yes, I get these random posts wanting to sell me t-shirts, mugs, clocks or others sewing related merchandise. This particular t-shirt had some appeal. Not as a t-shirt, but because of the slogan. My daughter paints wall hangings or I could make a fabric wallhanging. This seems like something that would be amusing to have hanging in my sewing room. What do you think? Should I choose fabric or wood?

I think fabric would be most appropriate!

I would choose a nice piece of sturdy fabric that will make the painting stand out!

If it's on fabric it will be appliqued, embroidered and quilted. Either way, it's. To at the top of my list of projects.

That's a good slogan if you are a .... person who sews. (Didn't really want to say 'sewer'!). It would have no relevance to me but would continually remind me of my shortcomings.

A person who sews likes to claim the title sewist. That sounds so much better then seeing the written word...sewer.

@JudyEv I've read it on sewing sites. I've embraced the word...it has a much nicer look.

I'm thinking that's probably the best approach for me to take.

As soon as I saw the design I thought for sure you could make it into a wall hanging. Hearing your daughter paints wall hangings that would work as well

I'll probably make it myself, using fabric...but it's not a priority at the moment.

I agree with your sister, fabric is more appropriate seen the use you have for it.

Either would be appropriate for your sewing room but if you have time I think the fabric would be the best choice.

I put all sorts of quotes on my slate and they sell like crazy. Fabric is your thing, I think it will be beautiful!

I think I'll make it to hang on the door. That way people will be able to see it even without entering the room.
