My long day got chopped in half. My hospital appointment ran long. When I got to my son's, he wasn't home.
I called him and will be going in about an hour. So, in the meantime, I'm going to get started on the many notifications I have today. It's doubtful I'll get finished.
For the first time ever, I was an easy poke. The nurse didn't even need to call the swat nurse. It took the first time instead of two or three. However, the drip decided it was going to have issues, so it took an hour longer than usual.
Now to get to your notifications. I hope you've had a good day. Tell me about it. Thanks for reading.

Glad you had a good nurse for it. That helps a lot.

@just4him Mine are easy to get so I get upset fast when they have trouble.

@wolfgirl569 That's good you're an easy poke. I wish I was, but I have small veins and they're easy to blow.

Oh I so dislike it when appointments run long. (unless it was guitar lesson or massage back in the days when I used to do that)
As long as the outcome was good though :-)

That's good that it only took the first poke instead of two or three, but sorry to hear the drip had issues! It's good that it is over though! My day is okay, minus coughing constantly.

I have had issues getting blood drawn too, but generally just at one place. I just don't think they really knew what they were doing. I was having an R and R day today. as we had a very long drive yesterday. I wanted to relax and decompress. I just went to the store and that was it. It was gorgeous today and I had the window open all day.

Yes, it is. I'm not going anywhere today. Not even the pool. I did so much stair climbing yesterday, I'm in a lot of knee pain.
