you can put anything in macaroni and cheese. try canned tuna, canned chicken, ground beef, ground turkey, chunks of turkey. even add veggies, like peas. my next quickie meal is anything on a tortilla, not just mexican foods. put tuna or chicken salad with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. without the veggies you can heat it up with cheese. i even put peanut butter and jelly on tortillas and roll them up. to make meals faster to prepare buy your groceries and cook your meats ahead of time and store in the freezer. my mom always browned her ground meats and put them in plastic freezer bags in one pound portions. then she just took them out and nuked them in the microwave and made casseroles in 20 minutes or less! good luck!
