Question about Donald Duck

Why does Donald Duck wear a towel when he comes out of the shower, when he doesn't usually wear any pants?

I thought Donald Duck did where pants? He wore a sailor type suit?

The sailor suit normally doesn't cover his lower half.

most other cartoon characters do the same thing. Probably because it's like a natural thing to cover up.

That's a funny question.This is what i think: he's wearing a towel just to have a decent posture even if he's not wearing pants all the rest of the time, after all he's just a cartoon.
