I have noticed in many languages the word 'Mother' begins with 'M'

In my mother-tongue Bengali Mother is called 'Ma', Its also begins with 'M'. Does the word 'Mother' begin with 'M' in your language?

in polish mother is matka or mama, similar to any other languages ps. my husband is bangladeshi
