Very Nice Picture. I used to live in the Bay Area for 2 years. I really miss California! Especially the coastline, there are so many great sights to see out there!

Nice shot! Another cool idea is to do this same shot with a few more candles. You can really get some great shots with just a little bit more light.

Sepia Tree - Sepia Tree
I'm posting a photo I took with my Lomo SuperSampler. It's my first lomo camera and it was my first time using it. It's funny, because this picture I was standing on my sisters balcony, and just snapped a shot at a tree that was in the field. I really like how it turned out though.:)

It looks pretty cool. Never heard of a Lomo camera before. Mine doesn't have sepia effect on it, I have to do that in photoshop.

great shot. What were the exposure settings? did you use a tripod?

For my shot I experimented with the different lighting conditions. I think I finally went with the sunlight setting even though it was inside. I didn't use a tripod. My ISO speed was 800 and my light meter I think was set to 400 to let more light in. Again I played with a variety of settings for that shot to see which would come out best.

Wondering what it is??It is a provision for a pipe to water plants... now dilapidated and isolated

I am not exactly sure what it is either. But I think you may be right in thinking that it is a pipe to water plants.

hope this post works - it's not web-hosted. The pic is of my baby daughter. I took it when she was only 10 days old using my Fuji finepix A350. I have some real stunners from my trip to california / nevada / arizona in 2003, but they're all on my home PC and I'm at work. I'll transfer them and post them up if i remember!
