What puts you in the holiday spirit?

For some people it is the cold weather, for others it is shopping, or cooking a big meal. For me, it is wrapping gifts for the kids in my neighborhood and volunteering some time to kids organizations. How about you?

This is probably going to be the toughest year ever for me to get into the holiday spirit. But I keep thinking about my grandkids and how I want it to be special for them. So that will help bring the spirit and I'll probably get out the christmas decorations this weekend and turn on some christmas music. That should do it.

That's cool you volunteer with the kids!! For me, it's just a combination of everything, the shopping for gifts, wish it would cold here-I've been in Florida for 6 years, moved North and was looking forward to cold and snow. It's been in the 70's lol. Pretty much once Thanksgiving rolls around, that's the start of it for me.
