If you think you can write articles, you may be interested in joining and submitting them to http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=2149 You can write a small 300wd article or longer and get paid anywhere from $3-$20. You can even get paid for articles you write that review businesses in your local area. Depending how well you write, and how many you can produce a day, you can make a bit of extra spending money for the holidays. Here is another place where you can bid on writing gigs: http://www.getafreelancer.com/affiliates/JC336/ However, you will find many who offer work, but expect you to work your tail off writing quality articles for pennies, and this is unacceptable; but, there are too many who sell out the writing community by taking these lowball jobs. Anyway, I definitely recommend the first site if you are interested in doing a little research and then constructing an article based on the topic.

Thanks for the detailed response. I use to love writing, it can't hurt to research it and try. I'll try anything once. Thank you and if it pans out my kids will thank you.

no problem. I'm a mom and military wife who is stationed overseas. I had to give up my career in the medical field when I came over here. So, what's a wife to do? I decided to cash in on my writing hobby.
