Has anyone had any side effects from taking this medication? And if not then how long have u taken it? Discuss

Nexium - The Purple pill.:)
I have been on it for 4 weeks now.,.i also take it with Amoxil..an antibiotic..because beside the ehartburn I have for nexium..I also have Ulcers..and the side effects I have had are..dry mouth..and soo gasious!! lol lol lol..and a bit constipated..ewwwiee i know lol..but I like it better than prilosec..or zantac..but atthe same time its one of those time delayed capsules..soo it takes an hour top work..soo i always have Tums nearby till it starts to take effect..:)

Funny, you mentioned the tums. I didn't yours before I posted. LOL. Me too with the tums.

I have taken Nexium for over three years now. I have never had any side effects from it. It has actually been a great medication for my heartburn/acid reflux. There are times when it doesn't work, I usually take a few tums, and it goes away.
